Aimee Dennis

Dr. Dennis currently serves as the Interim Superintendent for UT Tyler University Academy. Prior to this role, she served as Executive Director of Operations for two and a half years, Director of Special Programs and Leadership for two years, and Campus Director for six years at UT Tyler University Academy.

Dr. Dennis earned her doctorate in school improvement, a master’s degree in educational leadership, and a bachelor’s degree in education from The University of Texas at Tyler. Before transitioning to UT Tyler University Academy, she gained experience as an assistant principal, instructional coach, and teacher at James S. Hogg Middle School in the Tyler Independent School District.
