Daren Epperson

Daren Epperson is a Senior Product Development Engineer at Trane Technologies and currently serves as the new product development (NPD) engineering team leader for residential air handler products. He contributed to the development of Trane’s residential low-GWP air handler product portfolio and holds two design patents.

Daren also has five years of experience recruiting, interviewing, and placing college students in engineering internships and co-ops at Trane, most recently serving as recruiting team coordinator. He is passionate about creating opportunities for college students to grow in their careers.

An East Texas native, Daren is a graduate of The University of Texas at Tyler, earning degrees in 2012 and 2018. Outside of work, he is a husband and father of three, and a follower of Jesus who enjoys staying active, reading, and spending time with family.
