Sarah Walker
Sarah Jane Walker serves as the Career and Technical Education Counselor for Tyler ISD, where she has spent the past nine years helping students discover their passions and purpose through the district’s 25 programs of study. With 30 years of experience in public education, Sarah Jane is dedicated to guiding students toward career pathways that align with their interests, goals, and strengths.
She believes deeply in the power of education to equip students with meaningful, career-focused knowledge and skills that prepare them for success in higher education and beyond. Her counseling approach emphasizes individualized support to foster each student’s social, emotional, and academic growth.
Outside of school, Sarah Jane and her husband are proud Fighting Texas Aggie parents who enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and investing in their church community through youth ministry and small group Bible studies.
