UT Tyler Faculty-Led Programs

Faculty-led programs allow students to travel with classmates and faculty for 1-10 weeks, usually over spring break or summer. The trips coincide with a course and are almost always credit-bearing.

Exchange Partners

University of Hertfordshire Exchange Program

Spend one or two semesters as an exchange student at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield, England (30 miles from London), taking modules (classes) of your choice while paying UT Tyler tuition.

Affiliate programs can range from a few weeks to year-long study abroad experiences. With our wide variety of opportunities, you're sure to find a program that contributes to your field of study in the location you've always wanted to visit.

University Studies Abroad Consortium®

Since partnering with the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) in 2014, we've been able to to provide students with high quality semester and year-long study abroad opportunities. USAC is a nonprofit consortium consisting of 33 U.S. member universities and many affiliates from universities around the world. USAC maintains study abroad locations in 26 countries and offers study abroad scholarships to students attending its member and affiliated universities. Students from more than 800 universities worldwide have participated in USAC programs in its 30 year history.

Internships Abroad

Make your resumé stand out with an intensive career development experience abroad. You can participate in an internship program either while living abroad or remotely on a virtual internship program.

Virtual Exchange

International experiences are known to improve global competencies and build career readiness skills. While studying abroad has a multitude of benefits, it may not be achievable for some students. Virtual exchange programs can provide an immersive cultural experience by connecting with individuals around the globe from the comforts of home.
