Bachelor of Science in Information Technology-Admission Requirements

Upon a student’s admission to the Information Technology major, an academic advisor will be assigned to work with the student in planning a program to complete the degree requirements.  Students are encouraged to meet with their academic advisor throughout the semester and prior to registering for the next semester.

Transfer Students should complete the following lower division courses to meet prerequisites for Junior and Senior level courses. This course listing uses Texas Common Core Number and Title and should only be used by students who will transfer to the information technology program. Please contact us if your institution does not offer these courses and an advisor will assist you in finding equivalent courses.

Math requirements are track specific and may be completed before transferring to the program.
