Biography
Dr. White joined the faculty of the Soules College of Business in 2022. Prior to joining UT Tyler’s faculty, he spent 18 years as an adjunct professor in business law at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Dr. White has also taught as an adjunct professor at other institutions, including Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. I teach law because I love law, and I want to do what I can to inspire our students to love it too! – says Dr. White.
His professional experience includes 17 years as in-house counsel for an international marketing and print services company, 14 years of which were as General Counsel. In that role, Dr. White advised and counseled all areas of the business on a wide array of legal and compliance matters.
Dr. White earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University, and B.B.A. from the University of North Texas. His research interests include advertising law, bankruptcy law, employment law, intellectual property law, and real property law. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Association of Corporate Counsel, and the Academy of Legal Studies in Business.
