Biography

Emily Evans Fisher joined The University of Texas at Tyler Advancement team in March 2025 as a Development Associate.

Before joining UT Tyler, Emily spent her professional career in public service and political operations. She served as Legislative Correspondent, Press Assistant, and Interim Scheduler for former Congressman Louie Gohmert (TX-01) in Washington, D.C. In 2021, she moved to Little Rock to join the Sarah for Governor campaign as Scheduler. Following the successful campaign, Emily served as Deputy Scheduler for Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and most recently held the role of Event Director and Liaison to the Mansion Association at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion under the Sanders Administration.

A Tyler native, Emily is proud to once again call East Texas home. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Arkansas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and playing golf.
