Biography
Dr. Hines joined the UT Tyler Advancement staff in March 2023 and has served as the Director of Special Events, Director of Development for the College of Education and Psychology, and currently serves as the Director of Development and Endowment Compliance. He has been working within higher education since 2013 after working as an Inside Sales Consultant with the Houston Astros. Dr. Hines has worked with Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Louisiana State University, and served as the Conference Coordinator for the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) during his time at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
His collective experiences in higher education and professional association with the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) guide his efforts to support UT Tyler's commitment to education in East Texas. He is motivated to ensure endowment donor contributions have an opportunity to impact the lives of UT Tyler students and faculty. When he is not working towards the advancement of UT Tyler, he enjoys watching sports and traveling.
