Mark Stark is a 22-year U.S. Navy veteran where he served in the Engineering and Medical
fields. As one can imagine, his background in the U.S. Navy is as varied as the places
he has visited. Ultimately, Mark hails from the small west Texas town of Post, TX.
He followed his family back to East Texas in 2012.
After completing his Naval career on two aircraft carriers and one special forces command, he returned to college and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from South University, Savannah, Georgia. Since retiring from the military Mark has been a minister, salesman, small business owner in the construction and marketing industries, and supply manager for an ambulance rebuild facility.
Mark is now pursuing his Master’s in Human Resource Development from UT Tyler, where he also works as the Career Success Coach for the College of Engineering, serving engineering students on both the UT Tyler main campus and the students at the Houston Engineering Center campus, located in the Houston Community College – Alief District.
