How It Works

The National ROPS Rebate Program (NRRP) is a voluntary program that provides rebates for approximately 70%* of the cost of purchasing and installing a ROPS (Rollover Protective Structure; rollbar) kit. This rebate covers the ROPS kit (rollbar and seatbelt), shipping, and professional installation, if desired.

What are ROPS?

Rollover Protective Structures (ROPS) protect the tractor operator in the event of an
overturn by creating a safety zone. ROPS are proven to be 99% effective in saving lives
when worn with a seatbelt.

• Farmers are nearly 8x more likely to die on the job than the average American worker. Tractors overturns are the leading cause of death.
• 80% of deaths caused by rollovers happen to experienced farmers.
• 7 out of 10 farms will go out of business within 5 years of an overturn fatality.
• Through the National ROPS Rebate Program, the average out-of-pocket expense for a ROPS kit is $391.
