Academic Advising
Students majoring in most academic colleges can schedule an appointment with their academic advisor using the Civitas Inspire platform. View instructions on how to schedule an appointment.
The Soules College of Business and the UT Tyler School of Nursing do not schedule appointments via Civitas Inspire. To schedule an appointment with a Soules advisor please email soulesadvising@uttyler.edu. Please visit the UT Tyler School of Nursing Advisor page for information on how to meet with your advisor.
Need help with registration, choosing classes, understanding degree requirements, academic planning, holds, graduation preparation, or other quick questions? Stop by and meet with an undergraduate advisor during walk-in advising. Walk-in advising is designed for brief questions that can usually be answered in a short visit. If you need more detailed academic planning or support, an advisor may recommend scheduling a longer advising appointment.
