The University of Texas at Tyler

The Alumni Wall is located at the front entrance of the University Center. Established in 2002 by the former UT Tyler Alumni Association, the wall was made possible by a gift from the late Mrs. Emma Wise through The Watson W. Wise Foundation. The contribution was given to create the engraved, stainless steel plaques affixed to the Alumni Wall. Former UT Tyler President, Dr. Rodney Mabry, presided over the Alumni Wall installation ceremony in November 2003. During this ceremony, 19,000 names spanning 1974 to 2002 were installed. The Alumni Wall currently recognizes all graduates from 1974 through 2013.  Each alumnus is listed on the plaques by year of graduation and degree earned.
