Student Organization Orientation

UT Tyler Student Organizations

Orientation is offered to help leaders of student organizations navigate the UT Tyler campus and conduct business on campus, and is required by Texas state legislation.

A student organization's registration will not be complete until all the authorized representatives and the faculty/staff advisor have attended an orientation session.

 

You must attend student org orientation EITHER in person OR online once per academic year.

  • Our in-person student org orientation dates are: August 27th from 4-5pm in STE 127 and January 13th from 4-5 pm in STE 127

If one of your members cannot make any of the dates because of class then accommodations can be made for them or you may send another representative to take their place. These representatives will be receiving emails from Student Engagement, authorized to check your mailbox, and submit room reservations.
