Ornelas Hall is a five-story, co-ed residence exclusively for first-year students,
housing over 260 students in a welcoming environment designed to help you feel at
home. With options for double-occupancy or three-bedroom, one-bathroom units, you
can find the best fit for your living style. Enjoy convenient community amenities,
including a laundry room, a full kitchen, and a cozy study lounge—perfect for late-night
study sessions or group projects. As home to three engaging Living Learning Communities
(LLCs), Ornelas Hall provides a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and thrive alongside
your peers!
Patriot Village is a three-story, co-ed, apartment-style living community that houses 198 students. The units are fully furnished, featuring four private bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shared living area, and a kitchen. Residents also have access to a community laundry room located on the first floor of each of the two buildings. This gated community is conveniently located next to the Robert Muntz Library, where students can study, attend tutoring sessions, or enjoy a meal at our newly acquired, fully licensed Starbucks. Need to relax? An outdoor recreation area with a sand volleyball court and a grill is also available. Patriot Village is exclusively open to first-year students, providing ample opportunities for them to engage with their graduating class while maintaining a quiet environment to study.
Liberty Landing is an on-campus, apartment-style living community that accommodates 582 students. We offer five different floor plans to meet the diverse needs of our residents, ranging from single-occupancies to four-bedroom, four-bathroom units. Each apartment is fully furnished and includes a shared living area, full-sized kitchen, and a washer and dryer. This gated community is conveniently located across the street from Alumni Circle, which makes it a short walk to the University Center, HPC Gym and Athletic Center, School of Nursing, and many other campus facilities! Need to relax or break a sweat? Head over to the clubhouse to enjoy the pool, sand volleyball court!
Victory Village is an apartment-style living community that accommodates 322 students. It offers four different floor plans, all fully furnished, equipped with a full-sized kitchen, shared living space, and a washer and dryer. The available units include two-bedroom, two-bathroom, three-bedroom, three-bathroom, and four-bedroom, four-bathroom options. Located on University Boulevard and connected to the main campus via a walkway, Victory Village serves as a home for upper-level students as well as members of the Nursing BSN Community.
University Pines is an apartment community open to over 300 new and returning residents. It offers furnished and unfurnished apartments with full kitchens that range from single-occupant efficiencies to four-bedroom, two-bathroom options. While the gated community is located on UT Tyler campus grounds, University Pines is owned and operated by Campus Living Villages (CLV), a private third-party company not managed by UT Tyler.
