Cheryl Garmon
I was really amazed with just how influential the program has been on my life in various different aspects. I was able to earn the promotion to assistant professor of English as a result of my graduate work. I'm currently doing some research on witchcraft in Mary E. Wilkins Freeman's weird fiction as a result of the program. I was also able to present a project on the uncanny in On the Road by Jack Kerouac for the Southwest Popular/American Culture Association Conference.

Erin Reaume, MA in English, 2022

The cohort model truly benefited me by encouraging interaction, enabling cross-learning and fostering an underlying support structure. The faculty, who have academic and practitioner backgrounds, are top-notch and invested. I also enjoyed working and learning alongside stellar colleagues.

Dr. Greggory Keiffer, PhD in Human Resource Development, 2017

The possibilities and opportunities offered through this program have allowed me to expand as an artist and professional.” As a graduate art student, Joanna had the opportunity to work with local elementary school students on an art installation on their campus titled “Bridge: Compassion."

Joanna Gifford, MA/MFA Coordinated Degree, 2018

What I enjoy most about the program is the caliber of faculty, who are internationally known experts. Another benefit to me is that the program is a benefit to those whom I lead in the clinical nursing practice.

Cheryl Garmon, RN, MSN, DNP, Inaugural Class of 2019
