Biography

Julie A. Delello, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Teaching Professor in the School of Education at The University of Texas at Tyler, where she has served as a faculty member since 2009. Her teaching and research span educational technology, artificial intelligence, current and emerging technologies, qualitative and mixed-methods research, instructional design, and science and technology innovation. She teaches graduate courses addressing digital learning, robotics, 3D printing, applied AI, research methods, and doctoral scholarship.

Dr. Delello is the author or coauthor of more than 35 peer-reviewed journal articles, two edited books, numerous book chapters, and a RAND Corporation research report. Her recent research examines generative AI in education, human-AI interactions and emotional well-being, educator preparation, inclusive technology, older adults’ technology adoption, esports, and the effects of digital technologies on learning, health, and society. She also chairs and serves on doctoral dissertation committees and provides research-methodology guidance to doctoral candidates.
