The University of Texas at Tyler serves as a vibrant center for learning, culture, and natural beauty in East Texas.  Located midway between Dallas and Shreveport, Louisiana, UT Tyler has been a key part of the region since its founding in 1971.  Today, it is one of the fastest‑growing universities in the University of Texas System, experiencing significant expansion in healthcare, graduate education, and programs designed to meet the needs of East Texas.

Our beautiful 259‑acre Tyler campus sits along a serene lake and is surrounded by pine and oak forests, wooded walking paths, and a park‑like landscape that creates a truly picturesque setting for events.  It is the perfect place to step away from the rush of daily life while still enjoying the full range of amenities you would expect from a well‑equipped university.

• Facilities – 1,008-bed capacity; 30,000-square-foot convocation center with chair-back seating for 2,000 and a custom concert-grade sound system; state-of-the-art performance facilities, including a full Broadway-sized stage and hydraulically-controlled orchestra pit floor
• Services – Economical rates, free on-campus parking, 24-hour security, full-service catering, on-site AV support, free Wi-Fi, copy services center, bookstore and Robert R. Muntz Library
