Community Members' Reference Guide
As outlined in the UT Tyler Handbook of Operating Procedures 5.14, Special Use Facilities, those facilities designated by the President as Special Use Facilities are available for public use.
Scheduling for these rooms and facilities will be managed by the designated contact person or office responsible for the specific building or facility, using the established workflow within the scheduling software (unless otherwise noted).
Procedures for Requesting Campus Facilities
- Receive approval from Community Engagement and the Chief Business Officer via the Request Approval Form in DocuSign.
- If approved, a facility use agreement will be created and need to be executed prior to the event date.
- Provide the Risk Manager with a Certificate of Insurance (COI) evidencing insurance coverage.
- Pay all rental and usage fees. A quote will be provided.
