Early Assurance Pathway

 

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is excited to announce its first-ever Early Assurance Pathway. This pathway provides selected undergraduate juniors and seniors the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in program activities designed to enhance their skills to make them a more competitive applicant to medical school.

Students in the EAP program will participate in educational and immersive program activities that can include workshops focusing on leadership development, healthcare careers, tips and tricks to being a successful med student, and more. Students will also sharpen their skills through clinical shadowing experiences, simulation labs, volunteering, and other engaging program activities.

Collaborating Institutions

The UT Tyler School of Medicine is collaborating with eight East Texas colleges and universities to create a pathway to medical school. These institutions include:
