Natalia Menkina Snider received her Master’s in English Education in 2000 from Nizhny
Novgorod Linguistic University, Russia, and her Master’s in English in 2014 from the
University of Texas at Tyler. Her primary areas of research and teaching interest
include Immigrant Literature, freshman composition, and developmental writing. In
her teaching, she emphasizes student-centered and inclusive pedagogy that encourages
critical thinking, multimodal learning, and meaningful engagement with language, culture,
and identity. She is particularly interested in creating accessible and interactive
learning environments that help students develop confidence in their writing and analytical
skills.
