Glenn Blake
Glenn Blake, M.A.
Glenn Blake is the author of three short story collections: Drowned Moon, Return Fire, and The Old and the Lost. His fourth, Blizzard, is scheduled for publication in the Spring of 2026. His novel, Deguello, under contract, due to New York this December.
Professor Blake has taught graduate fiction workshops in the English Department at Rice University, the Writing Program at the University of Houston, The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins.
Blake has served as Managing Editor at Gulf Coast at Houston, Managing Editor of The Texas Review at Sam Houston State, Managing Editor of The Johns Hopkins Review, and most recently, Senior Editor of Boulevard. He will serve as Editor and Founder of our new literary journal at the University of Texas at Tyler. He serves as the Director of The University of Texas Press at Tyler.
