Biography

Citlali E. Molina is an Assistant Professor and the School Counseling program coordinator at the University of Texas at Tyler. She is a certified school counselor and a licensed professional counselor in Texas with over 14 years of experience in public education. She has published on topics related to school counseling interventions, career counseling, and addictions. Her experiences as a public-school educator and school counselor led her to study teacher-student relationships. Her research interests include culturally responsive evidence-based school counseling interventions to support teacher-student relationships, specifically related to Social Emotional Learning and Mindfulness-based approaches, as well as training school counselors to advocate for underserved students and families.
