Student Right to Know Data for cohort years 2016-2018:

UT Tyler's average graduation rate (in six years or less) for the last four years is 47%. This four-year average includes students who entered in Fall 2015, Fall 2016, Fall 2017, and Fall 2018 and who graduated by Aug. 31, 2025. UT Tyler tracks the percentage of first-time, full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students who earn a bachelor's degree in six years or less.

Calculation of four-year average rates with adjustment to cohort:

  • 2016 cohort: cohort size of 815; 359 graduates in six years or less 359/815=44%
  • 2017 cohort: cohort size of 650; 304 graduates in six years or less 304/650=47%
  • 2018 cohort: cohort size of 824; 446 graduates in six years or less 446/824=54%
  • 2019 cohor: cohort size of 822; 387 graduates in six years or less 387/822=47%

Total 1,496 graduates out of 3,111 in the last four cohorts:

Four-year average completion rate = 48%.
