Biography

Mr. Timothy Morgan comes to the University of Texas at Tyler after being a course instructor and research assistant at Texas A&M University. Prior to this, Mr. Morgan worked in various leadership and training positions in educational institutions and university athletic departments. Mr. Morgan taught has the Organizational Behavior course (MANA 3315) this summer and fall at UT Tyler.

His teaching and research have focused on organizational behavior and human resource management with emphasis on employee motivation, meaningful work, recruiting, and leadership.

In his spare time, Mr. Morgan enjoys athletic and outdoor endeavors including hiking, swimming, lifting weights, tennis, sand volleyball. He is also active in his church, and enjoys traveling, cultural events and festivals, and listening to live music. Mr. Morgan sings in a 70-person male choir, which most recently sang at President Bush's funeral processional and a Houston Texans Monday Night Football game. He is an avid sports fan, cheering for schools he has attended--Penn State and Texas A&M , as well as the New York Yankees baseball team.

Getting to know students and developing positive relationships with them through teaching is Mr. Morgan's favorite aspect of being a university course instructor.
