Patriot Plaza
The Patriot Plaza is located in the heart of the campus, between the University Center and the Alumni House. It consists of two (2) large green spaces with trees, sidewalks, and grassy areas. It even has an amphitheater seating for 600. The Plaza provides a common area conducive to various types of engagement to include concerts, family reunions, and other large gatherings.
UT Tyler faculty, staff and registered student organizations can request the Patriot Plaza (to include the amphitheater) and/or Patriot North Plaza using Astra. Quick video tutorials for student organizations are available if needed.
External clientele are welcome to request this venue using the online event request form found here. This versatile space can be transformed to fit any and all corporate or social events including banquets, concerts, family reunions, etc. Whether you are planning something as simple as a large meeting or as complex as a concert, let The University of Texas at Tyler provide your guests with a unique experience.
