There is a variety of software available to you as a student at The UT Tyler School of Medicine. Some applications require different sign-in options.

Single Sign-on (SSO): For software using a single sign-on page, use your Patriot email and password. Some applications will vary (see Omnissa/VDI below). Most applications you encounter will use this single sign-on portal option.
Omnissa/Virtual Desktop Infrastructure(VDI): For Omnissa specifically, it will also use an SSO login option. However, your student credentials will not be provisioned for this access. Instead you will want to navigate to the Omnissa homepage (insert link) in a private window and use your UTHCT credentials. If you need assistance locating this email please reach out to your program coordinator.
Other Software: There may be some software required for classes that will require you to make a personal account. Read the directions provided by your instructor carefully to ensure your account is created properly. If not specified by your instructor, we recommend using your university e-mail address as your user account, so that any account recovery issues can be handled through your univeristy email.
