Amy Schenck, LPC, provides counseling services for the TCHATT - Northeast Texas program. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s in clinical mental health counseling from The University of Texas at Tyler.

Amy’s diverse background includes roles as a counselor, crisis counselor, child and adolescent case manager, high school teacher, and family and community engagement coordinator. She is passionate about empowering her clients to overcome challenges and heal from past experiences, and has special expertise in working with LGBTQ+ populations, trauma, depression, and life transitions. 

Amy is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and has a particular affinity for nature-based therapy. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping.
