Laura is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and certified school counselor with over 15 years of experience in the public education system. A former educator, Laura is deeply committed to empowering children for success in life, particularly those facing challenges who require additional support.

Throughout her career, Laura has worked with students in both individual and group settings, addressing a range of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, body image concerns, and family dynamics. Her proficiency in Spanish enables her to connect effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, enriching her approach to counseling. Laura is dedicated to equipping students with the tools they need to navigate their personal and academic challenges while providing encouragement and support along the way.

A lifelong learner, she enjoys reading, spending quality time with her family, traveling, and participating in Zumba. One of her guiding philosophies is encapsulated in her favorite quote: “Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful.”
