Wendy earned her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from The University of Texas at Tyler. She spent several years working as a classroom teacher before pursuing her Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.

Prior to joining the TCHATT - Northeast Texas team as an intake specialist in 2024, Wendy served as a high school counselor, gaining valuable experience in student support and mental health. Having personally experienced the loss of a spouse, Wendy deeply understands the importance of accessible mental health resources for students and their families.

In her free time, Wendy loves spending time with her husband and four children. Her favorite activities include watching her kids play sports, gardening, horseback riding, and caring for her many animals.
