Lauren holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with a specialized emphasis on trauma. Her clinical expertise encompasses a range of areas, including trauma-related disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, and behavioral challenges. Lauren employs a variety of therapeutic approaches, including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), unified protocol, interpersonal therapy, and narrative therapy. Her goal in each session is to maximize the time spent with clients, guiding them to recognize, articulate, and address their sources of distress.

Outside of her professional practice, Lauren cherishes time with her family and pets, enjoys gardening, and loves watching HGTV. She believes that therapy is an essential resource during challenging times and approaches her work with compassion and a genuine desire to understand each client’s unique story—past, present, and future. By fostering a safe and supportive environment, she helps clients explore what may be hindering their progress toward healing and personal goals. Lauren views each individual as a unique entity, equipped with inherent strengths and skills to navigate their challenges, and she is dedicated to walking alongside them on their journey to wellness.
