Ashlea earned her M.S. in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2009 and is currently pursuing full LPC licensure. With more than a decade of experience in education, serving as both a classroom teacher and school counselor, she joined the TCHATT - Northeast Texas team as a therapist in 2023.

Ashlea’s work experience includes assisting patients with challenging emotions related to peer conflicts, family issues, and self-harm. Utilizing a variety of techniques such as individual and group guidance, games, and peer mediation, she promotes social and emotional growth. Additionally, Ashlea has organized community outreach initiatives, including food drives and support programs for families in need, made possible through generous community contributions.

Adopting a person-centered and solution-focused approach, Ashlea is dedicated to empowering individuals to thrive both in the classroom and the community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and beloved dogs.
