Ricardo is deeply committed to serving vulnerable populations, recognizing the critical need for increased awareness and support for mental health within the community. His dedication to providing care for individuals and families in need has shaped his professional journey.

With two decades of experience, Ricardo has worked extensively with adults and children facing intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance-use disorders, age-related psychiatric challenges, and various mental health conditions. He holds a graduate degree in criminal justice, focusing on institutional healthcare, which enables him to understand the intersections between the justice system and the treatment of individuals with special needs in correctional settings.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Ricardo enjoys spending his free time farming, restoring abandoned cemeteries, conducting genealogy research, refurbishing antiques, and exploring different languages.
